The EWS ACADEMY offers great hands-on Basic Sewing, Tailoring
and Pattern Making classes. These lessons are designed for people
who desire to make or alter clothing for themselves and their families.
The lessons are also for those who want to open their own Custom
Tailoring and Dressmaking shops. People who wish to open and
operate an alteration shop or to create their own line of clothing
would truly benefit from these courses.
BASIC SEWING – TAILORING CLASSES
Students at all skill levels are welcome to learn how to sew. Learn
the special techniques that top European and domestic designers
use in clothing construction, fittings, and pressing. Stop making
those "homemade-looking" clothes and learn how to make them
like the professionals.
PATTERN MAKING CLASSES
Learn the formulas used to draft patterns from beginning to end for
ready-to-wear and custom garments. Stop wasting time and money
using commercial patterns! Learn to make your own clothes and draft
patterns that will fit and complement your body. These are the same
formulas used by top European and domestic designers. Product and
development, a procedure used to help designers improve and complete
their patterns, will be taught. No sewing experience is required.
All semesters are continuing, giving you the option to further
develop and enhance your skills.
SAVE TIME & MONEY !
Now you can achieve your sewing goals in the exciting virtual
Classroom of the e-learning environment (e-mail, live interactive
video, and teleconferencing). Whether you are a beginner,
intermediate, or advanced sewer our online courses will allow

in the comfort of your own home.

professional looking garments they will wear with pride. Eric W.

Project Runway Wednesday Nights On Bravo.
Wearing It Well
“PROJECT RUNWAY”
contestants have designs on winning
“…For those unfamiliar with the show, each week contestants will be challenged to create the most
dynamic designs based on themes that, in the past, have included such odd requirements as making
fashion out of garbage, plants and the clothes off their backs. Each week, the least successful
is voted off the runway.
When the winner is finally announced in February, he or she will walk away with an editorial feature
in Elle, $100,000 in cash from TRESemme professional hair care to start his or her own line and the
opportunity to sell a fashion line on Bluefly.com. Not too shabby, huh? Makes you wish you had an
idea how needle and thread actually worked.”
EWS ACADEMY WILL SHOW YOU HOW THE SEWING MACHINE, NEEDLE,
THREAD, THIMBLE AND MUCH MORE ACTUALLY WORKS !
We will teach you what the top designers are doing and you can learn.
The most unique thing about the instructor; is that he has brought all of his expertise
and knowledge to these Academies, and offers the most up-to-date techniques and
skills available.
